MUSIC FESTIVAL | KAHBANG: MAINE
At Studio Linear Live, music festivals are more than a lineup—they’re living, breathing experiences. Over the years, we’ve had the opportunity to work closely with festival teams to build visual identities that support not just promotion, but the full on-site experience. One of our longtime collaborations has been with KahBang, a music festival based in Bangor, Maine.
For KahBang, our work focused on refreshing the festival’s visual identity while preserving its established energy and community roots. We developed updated branding and created poster designs for the full lineup, along with a complete suite of festival collateral including tickets, lanyards, VIP passes, and a custom festival map. During the event itself, our team provided photography and creative oversight for pop-up events, helping document the atmosphere while ensuring the visual experience stayed cohesive from pre-show promotion through the final performance.

MUSIC FESTIVAL | BLOODLINES INTERWOVEN: NYC
Building on that experience, we were excited to bring our festival expertise to a new project in New York City: Bloodlines Interwoven, a music festival hosted by Kaoru Watanabe. For this inaugural event, we partnered closely with the team to establish a brand identity from the ground up. Our work included branding, visual collateral, poster design, and website design—creating a cohesive system that reflected the spirit of the festival while supporting promotion, ticketing, and audience engagement.
Across both projects, our approach remained the same: designing flexible, intentional visual systems that support music, artists, and live experiences at every touchpoint. Whether refreshing a long-running festival or launching a new one, we focus on creating work that feels authentic, functional, and deeply connected to the culture surrounding the event.
